I recently switched from Tmobile to Version and all my photos that are in my icloud have yet to download to my new phone. Is there a way I can retrieve these photos?

My photos show in my iphone icloud storage but they are not visible in my photos

iPhone 8 Plus, iOS 11

Settings > photos

enable iCloud Photos
