How can I get replacement screws for my MacBook Pro enclosure?

A number of screws have fallen out from the bottom of my MacBook Pro Mid 2015. How can I get new replacement screws?

NB

I have searched, but I don't have the specifications for these small Phillips-head screws, so I haven't been able to find them.

On sites like Amazon, they sell the replacement screws for different MacBook Pro models, and in some cases even include the proper screwdriver as part of the package. I believe these may be Torx screws and screwdrivers; unlike Phillips head screws, these Torx screws (and screwdrivers) have five slots.

They are Pentalobe screws (size 5 I believe).

Just purchase from a vendor who clearly states the exact models the part is compatible. Purchasing from anyone who is not able to clearly list compatible models should be avoided since they don't know what they are doing (or don't care).

FYI, two of the screws will be very short so make sure you use the correct screw in the correct location or you can damage the threads in the Top Case Assembly....would be extremely expensive repair.

Aside to the OP: beware they may not go in perpendicular to the case. On at least some MPB models they are slightly offset from vertical.

Great point! Good catch. Most of them are at a slight angle.

Since you did not remove the original fasteners it may be difficult to determine which ones go where.

The two shortest ones go in near the center near the back vents. All the others should be the same size for a 2015 model.
