How do you add allowed websites to screen time?

When adding allowed sites for my children, should I take off the content restrictions, go to the sites, then put restrictions back on again? Do those sites then become "allowed"?

Content Restrictions on iPhone allowing websites when it is set to Only Allowed Websites I have always had my child’s screen time set to Only Allowed Websites under Content Restrictions. Recently my child was able to access multiple ai chatbot type websites through safari without needing to request access. This is very concerning. I used my child’s phone myself and saw there is no workaround, no VPN, no private browsing needed. It’s just allowing my child to access any website. How can this be happening?

Kids - Screen time restrictions issues Kids get past "don't allow" delete/download restrictions Hi. My kids are getting past the screen time "don't allow" apps to be downloaded/deleted restrictions by deleting and downloading YouTube and Brawlstars so that resets their screen time for that app each time they do it. How can we restrict kids from deleting and redownloading apps like YouTube and Brawlstars? Please help. They learned this from other kids so this is a big issue with Apple screentime!

Hi SmallBusinessCoach,

You don't need to turn off Screen Time to add it. On an MacBook Air, to add websites Allowed Websites Only needs to be selected and from there you can click the Add button and enter the website title and URL. For more information see Change Content Restrictions settings in Screen Time on Mac.
