can you use an iPhone as an emergency mouse for your Mac over USB

My Kensington trackball mouse died.. it connects to my Mac via USB micro receiver or Bluetooth… batteries are charged up/OK… but I can’t use my Mac at all becuz of not having a mouse/trackpad, and no, I don’t have a spare ( backup/emergency) USB wired/wireless mouse… sooo.. can I do this or do I have to get up, go to Dollarama/family dollar/dollar general and get( buy) a usb wired mouse… it’s only $5 though, so if it dies prematurely, it’ll be a shame ( no big loss, just an inconvenience/irritation/aggravation)

thanks
