Hey guys, I recently purchased a new MacBook Air, and also order a USB flash drive for school work. I noticed that after 15-20 minutes the flash give gets extremely hot. Is this normal? Or is this something I should be concerned about? Thank you!

I had a 128GB flash drive that got so hot the wording on the drive discolored. About a week after purchase it failed completely.
We now have a pair of portable 250GB SSDs in place of cards and flash drives for data transfer.
