is another option to add a second watch to our current Shared Apple ID? Would she be able to access her health data and get call and text notifications? Or would the new watch just show basic information on its face….but not on the IPhone. Yes we are confused!!!
You each need to have your own Apple ID. Apple IDs are designed for individual use. While it's certainly possible to manage some things while sharing, eventually, you're going to run into a situation where it won't work. And this is one of them.
You can always share purchased content using Family sharing.
Ok….too much hassle to install and set up many apps on a separate Apple ID. We will get a Fitbit!!!
Only you can decide what works best for you. What I can tell you is that this will not be the last time you have a problem because you're sharing an Apple ID.
