How do I know my phone has iCloud enabled?

I have locked myself out of my iPhone 12 Pro Max by changing the passcode too fast. How do I know my data is all backed up to the iCloud before I start the recovery process through ITunes?

You don’t… even if you could determine that, it’s too late to do anything about it now.
