how do i delete apple tv off my mac
i don't have enough storage on my 2019 mac book air that my dad gave me but it won't let me delete any of my apps

The Apple core applications cannot be deleted. You can remove Keynote, Pages, Numbers, iMovie, and GarageBand however. Assuming you are not using these apps, you can move them to the Trash and delete them.
There is also a 1.05 GB GarageBand folder in /Library/Application Support folder. If you delete the app, you might as well as also delete this folder as it contains instrument libraries.
Also, check for old home folders. You can delete them from System Settings. Just remember, if you delete the account and the home folder, the data will be gone.

Removing Apple TV, even if you could, would only free up a tiny amount of space.
Th problem is generally user files notably large auto-visual items.
