Dark sky what was the most functional weather site. To my understanding it was used by all government agencies, such as CIA it would give you a global map of weather and movement of weather. It was purchased and closed down. Why is if the buyer is not using its application for the public use.

It is my understanding that the Dark Sky weather features have been absorbed into the Apple Weather app. If you haven't used the Apple Weather app recently, it has been greatly improved. See this:
