iMessage in iPad Pro not syncing

Hello. I have a Macbook Pro, iPhone 13 Pro, Apple Watch Ultra, and latest iPad Pro. iMessage seems to sync well across my devices except for the iPad Pro, and it was like this on my earlier gen one as well. I've tried restarting the iPad, turning iMessage off and on, still whatever I do on my other devices doesn't show on the iPad. I also saw this message when trying to figure it out. Can anyone help please? P.S. i thought i asked this in the iPad forum, but saw it wasn't there.

If you are experiencing difficulties with Messaging and/or FaceTime, start here:

If you can’t turn on or sign in to iMessage or FaceTime - Apple Support


If you continue to experience difficulties, you would be best advised to seek assistance directly from from Apple Support. You can contact the Support Team using the Support link at top-right or bottom-left of this page.


Alternatively, you can initiate and manage your support cases from Apple devices using the excellent Apple Support App. If not already installed, the App can be downloaded from the App Store:
