The template is pretty nice; however, if you are in, say, March, and you enter text on (any) day and then you go back to January - or any other month - the text for March appears. How do you enter information for a month and it appear only on that month?

You could duplicate the sheet, set the new sheet for a different month, and enter text there.
To duplicate tap (or click, if you are on Mac) the "tab" at the top and choose Duplicate.
You could end up with twelve sheets, each containing its own month.
