I use Apple Pay to pay Uber. Now Uber wants to know the first 6 digits and last 4 digits of the card charged in error. How can I find the full credit card number used when I used Apple Pay?

If you used ApplePay, ALL you can provide is the last 4 digits of the device code. (displayed from within the card’s “More -> Card Number” screen)
PERIOD.
If the agent asserts that more is “required” politely ask for a manager (who presumably will be more “informed”)
If you can’t achieve satisfaction, dispute the transaction w/ your credit card issuer.

Thanks for the help, Chattanoogan. But it was not quite so easy to find the Apple Pay 4 digits. There's not a readily visible "More -> Card Number”. When I have the real card pulled up in my Apple Wallet. I had to "click" on the three dots in the upper right corner, then on card number. Displayed are the last 4 digits of the real card and the last 4 digits of the Apple Pay "card". (iPhone using iOS 16.6). But thanks again. I got what I needed.

It’s always better to resolve it w/ the merchant directly rather than having to resort to the “dispute” mechanism.
