Internet via USB-C stops working after a while
Hi,
I have a Macbook Pro to which I bring (Ethernet) internet via USB-C port. When I download something longer and at high speed, after a while the internet stops working. It also does this even when I'm not downloading anything and just using Safari or something normally. In the settings for the network, it indicates the USB LAN port as connected (also the indicator is green), but realistically the internet does not go - the download speed is 0 Kbps. Do you know what it could be or how to solve it ?
The internet is fed to the USB-C cable via a docking station, which is connected by ethernet cable directly to the router. Could be a fault in the Dock or in the router, BUT I also own a second macbook pro on which everything went without problems UNTIL I UPGRADED FROM MACOS MONTEREY TO MACOS VENTURA !!! On macOS Moneterey everything went fine, but on macOS Venture (which I also have on this macbook) it makes the mentioned error. Which means that 99% of the time it's not a problem with the dock or the router.
So does anyone have a similar problem or would you know how should I solve this ?
Thank you.
