Finger oil on keyboard move to screen

On my MBA M2 2023, for the first time, finger oil is moving from the keyboard on to the screen.

I cleaned my screen last night with a brand new Apple microfiber cloth while using a professional headlight - what doctors wear - to verify that all oil was removed. However I just shined a flashlight onto the screen while it was off and noticed the screen was dirty again.

It appears that oil from my hands are transferring to the screen when pressing the keyboard and folding the MBA closed. This has never happened with any other MBA or MBP I've owned prior to M2.

Obviously the both the keyboard & screen needs to constantly cleaned.

This is an Important question because I don't want the IR sensor to turn on while an LED is shining on it and can possibly damage the unit: Is there anyway to keep the MBA 2023 powered off so no keys, except for power, will power up the unit?

Thanks.

The IR is what's used to automatically control the brightness of screen not the camera. Through experience with specific electronic devices when shining an extremely bright light at the IR while its powered on can cause it to not work as its intended to.

This is similar to shining e.g.. a 1000 lumen flashlight LED into one's eye. Because of the brightness it can cause damage to the retina which can prevent it from working as intended to.
