Apple Pay face ID

I went on settings and made it so that the wallet can use face ID but i go back on the app and it doesn’t show as “pay with face ID”, the button just disappears, but if I turn the setting off to use password the button comes back showing “pay with password” could someone please explain how to fix this?

I want to add an ID to Wallet, but the only option is to set up Face ID I am attempting to add my Military ID to Wallet. However the only option I have is asking me to set to Apple Pay with the comment that "Apple Pay works best with Face ID and requires a passcode". I'm trying to use the + at the top of the screen, not the "ADD" button in the "Getting Started with Apple Pay" box, although they both result in the same green popping up. I already have a number of membership cards in Wallet that automatically were put there by their respective organizations. I am running iOS 16.1.1.

Face ID nor working for Apple Pay Hi, I have a new IPhone 14 pro, my Face ID works normally except for my Apply pay. It displays a smiley face but then does not display the Green ‘tick’ and payment is declined. All the seetting are right, Apple Pay is activated on the Face ID/passcode settings. Please advise thanks

Paying by Apple Pay When I paying for something using Apple Pay, I always have to double click the side of my phone as well as my face ID Is there a way that I can just open up the Wallet and allow payment just by putting phone over the connecting machine and authorising by my face ID

Hello, what happens if you double press the power button? It should pull out your card, does Face ID works you if you do this?

It does. It’s my first time using the app so I was very confused when it didn’t have the button, Thank you!

Glad that it helped! You can use this method on Apple Watch too, in a way that you don’t even have to bring your iPhone out of your pocket! :)
