My email subfolders (aol and gmail) from my desk top no longer sync with my ipad or iphone

My email subfolders (aol and gmail) from my desk top no longer sync with my ipad (Air 4th Gen. Ver. 16.6) or iphone 11 pro (Ver. 16.6). Im using Microsoft Outlook with Widndows 10 Version 22H2. I receive and send fine. I have all of my e-mail accounts organized with many sub folders to store important emails by categories. I can move emails to existing folders with ease but any new folder I add in any of the e-mail accounts will not show up on my ipad or iphone. I have 2 Aol accounts and 1 gmail account. Something similar occured with my gmail account a couple of years ago.

iPhone 11 Pro, iOS 16

Hi dub53,

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities. Try the following which should help you to locate existing mailboxes or to add new ones in the Mail app. This and more can be found in Use mailboxes to organize email on your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support.

"Create custom mailboxes

  1. In the Mailboxes list, tap Edit in the upper-right corner, then tap New Mailbox.
  2. Give your mailbox a name. If you have more than one email account set up on your device, tap Mailbox Location and choose the account where you want to create a mailbox.
  3. Tap Save, then tap Done.

You can find your new mailbox in the Mailboxes list under the account where you created it."

All the best.
