Not able to download games on family Apple Watch

Has anyone found the answer yet to adding games or other app’s on a family members watch that’s set up with your phone?

How has apple not fixed this issue still!!?

I’m unable to download apps on family member (kid’s new watches) My kids both have cellular. Apple watches (se and 8) that we just got them. Neither one is able to download apps from the App Store. They can go to the App Store from their watch, but when they selected and app, it asks them to login and goes into a loop to keep asking them. I’ve gone to two Apple stores in San Francisco and in walnut creek and they’ve been unable to solve this and they suggested I reach out to Apple directly, which I will call tomorrow. When I go to settings in the Watch app and click on their watch, there’s no apps available to download like there are for my Watch, which is also paired to this iphone 15. We have the latest firmware for both the watches and my phone. Does anyone have a solve for this as we have verified that we’re just trying basic apps that are available for Apple Watch and doesn’t work. I’m not sure if there’s something going on with the logins. The people at the Apple Store verified that my settings on my watch and on the phone have no restrictions that we can see.

Child Apple Watch unable to download apps My child has an Apple Watch SE that I set up as a child watch using my iPhone. She is unable to download apps in the App Store on the watch - she can go into the App Store and find apps, but when she clicks "Get", the wheel spins for awhile and then just goes back to "Get". Things I've tried: disabling all Content and Privacy Restrictions in the Screen Time settings made sure that wifi/cellular was on removing the watch and setting it up again

If you're unable to download any apps on the Apple Watch set up with family member, you may have them double check the Screen Time settings for any restrictions on downloading apps.

Keep in mind that for an Apple Watch set up for a family member, not all apps/features may be available, as they'll depend on having a companion iPhone. There's more information here:
