2008 MacBook, macOS compatibility. why couldnt the 2008 macbook run oses beyond snow leopard out of curiosity - the core 2 duo can run el capitan but the 2008 macbook could only run up to snow leopard. why? [Re-Titled by Moderator]

I had one of these machines, and I used it for many years. I suggest doing a google search for "Definitive Classic Mac Pro Upgrade". and go from there.
