i recently just got a new wifi, and it works perfectly fine on my iphone, but when i try to connect it to my mac it keeps on saying that the wifi password requires a wpa2 password, and i don't know what that is. please help 🥹

It is the wifi password either on a label on your new router or one that you created.

As you are discovering, Wi-FI networks generally require a password to access them. That is what keeps other people from being able to access someone else's Wi-Fi.
