🍏 Music, Local radio, doesn’t show local stations.

Open the “Local Broadcasters” section under Radio, in Apple Music (device doesn’t matter).

On my devices, none of the stations are local. I’m in Minnesota, but it’s showing stations, for Los Angeles etc.

I have to search for the stations to actually get the local ones in my state. None of the radio stations listed in the screenshot are in my area The highlighted one is.

By the way, don’t bother to call Apple support, two of them hung up (or the call dropped…it was a very good connection) and they didn’t bother to call back, despite having my Apple ID and contact information. One of them wasn’t even aware that Apple Music, does have FREE music to stream.

What are you confused about? You clearly didn't read what I had wrote. If you had, you would have known that I already know how to find the radio stations section in Apple Music. You would also have seen that my post, was about LOCAL (local to MY AREA, not a 1,000 miles away) radio stations not showing up. You have to search for the local stations. So, what are you confused about?

Listen to the radio in the Apple Music app - Apple Support

Here's how to find Radio

* On your HomePod: Ask Siri to play a radio station.
* On your PC: Open iTunes, choose Music from the pop-up menu, then click Radio in the navigation bar.
* On the web: Go to music.apple.com, then click Radio in the sidebar.

Radio is available only in select countries and regions, and features vary by country and region. Learn what's available in your country or region.

To start listening:

1. Open the Apple Music app or go to music.apple.com. On a PC, open iTunes.
2. Go to Radio. Can't find Radio?
3. Scroll to Apple Music 1, Apple Music Hits, or Apple Music Country to tune in live, see upcoming shows, and listen to previously aired shows on-demand.

You can also ask Siri to play Apple Music 1, Apple Music Hits, or Apple Music Country.
Listen to Apple Music 1 radio now

*You can listen to Apple Music Hits and Apple Music Country for a limited time without an Apple Music subscription. If you don't have an Apple Music subscription, you can listen to Apple Music 1 live, but can't access previously aired shows on-demand.

If the resource above has nothing to do with the type of support you're seeking, provide us specifics on what you are seeing and experiencing on your end for more help, and we'll continue from there.

Cheers!

I have the same issue. I know it's late to reply in this thread.

Could this be an issue caused by the use of Private Relay. Apple Music wouldn't be aware of it running and take its purposely displaced location as the real locale of the user.

If true, Apple Music should ignore the Private Relay location and use the real one for radio stations suggestions.
