Oof, sounds like you're in a bit of a tech pickle. No worries! If you're tryna wipe that iPad 2, you got options. Just a heads up, though—wiping the device will delete everything, so say "peace out" to all your data. Here's the tea:

1. **Reset directly from the iPad**:

- Go to Settings

- Tap General

- Scroll down and tap Reset

- Choose Erase All Content and Settings

You might be asked to enter your passcode or Apple ID password. If you're good to go, hit "Erase" and that iPad will be as fresh as an Apple :)

2. **Using iTunes on a Computer**:

- Open up iTunes on your comp. If you're on a Mac with macOS Catalina or later, you'll use Finder instead.

- Connect the iPad to the computer with a USB cable.

- Select your iPad when it shows up in iTunes or Finder.

- Hit "Restore" and follow the prompts.

iTunes will do its thing, and you'll have a wiped iPad when it's done.

If it ain't showing up on iCloud, that probably means Find My iPad was never turned on, so you can't erase it remotely. Sucks, but it is what it is. 😬

Hope that helps, and you get it sorted! 🤙
