Battery health

Is it normal that my iphoneā€™s battery health went from 96% to 93% in just one month ? Iā€™m really shocked cause iā€™m not using it that much during the day or night and iā€™m not playing games. I hope to find answers that helps me

Hi your iPhone battery is designed to retain 80% capacity after 500 cycles. A cycle being from 100% to 0%. So if you use 40% one day and charge your iPhone to 100% then the following day use 60% then charge it to 100% you will have completed 1 cycle. As has been said in this post it is dependent upon how you use and charge your iPhone. Donā€™t let it go to 0% before charging, I try and charge my iPhone between 30% and 80%. I have included Appleā€™s support pages for reference .

The measure of battery health deterioration/drainage is subjective and can vary depending on individual usage patterns. There is no universal standard to determine whether the battery health deterioration/drainage is normal or abnormal because it heavily relies on how the battery is used and maintained.
