I alternate bike-running cycles every mile with a partner. What is the appropriate setting mode in the apple watch 8 for this practice?
Multisport triathlon does not apply because there is no swimming. In the triathlon mode, the watch does not sense difference between running and cycling and distance tracking stops. If I do a custom bike-run multisport (dropping the swimming), the watch starts with the bike then senses the transition to running before tracking the running but stay in the running for the rest of the alternate bike-running workout and only senses when I am running only. (disregarding the cycling). Can I use the apple 8 to track the entire cycling and the entire running?
