Apple Watch not syncing 'indoor walk' workout to iPhone 14

My watch will not display stats after a workout on "Indoor Walk". Why not? It is fine on outdoor walk and I understand that stationary cycle will not record because I don't use a "smart stationary bike" but a simple adapter for my regular bike. The watch does display distance covered, time, and pace on "Indoor walk" but info does not seem to make it to the iPhone 14.

The first (and simplest) thing to try if something isn’t working right is to restart your Apple Watch and its paired iPhone. If necessary (device not responding), try a forced restart. Both methods can be found here:

If that doesn't help, the next steps would be to unpair and pair your watch again and restore from the backup just created. This should result in no loss of data. It deletes all temp and corrupted files and re-indexes the file system.

Did the indoor walk with the watch set for outdoor walk today: (around an indoor soccer pitch...it's -4F and breezy outdoors). iWatch transmitted data to the phone, calculated and displayed pulse, pulse recovery, distance, time, and Cardio Fitness OK but did not display the GPS map. My thought is that the metal roof on the building blocked sufficient transmission for the precise GPS location so GPS map not displayed. Guess that's "what it is". Yes, both watch and phone have latest iOS updates installed.
