I have successfully changed my avatar on my IPhone, Macbook, AND ICloud, but the change won't stick in my IMac. For example, it will show as the new avatar immediately after changing it but will soon revert back to the original within seconds.

Is is reverting to one of the images on another device?
Apparently, starting with an OS update a while back, the images are synced. I never even thought about that. But when I changed my image on my iMac, it likewise changed on all my other devices ... five in all.
If there is a way to stop that, I haven't found it. haven't looked really .. to me it's incidental.

As I previously stated, I already successfully changed my avatar on all my other devices, including ICloud. The IMac is resisting the change, regardless of updates.
