I’m trying to find out if the Apple watch with the fitness app, does it have meditation videos on it like phone if so which model please?

Does the fitness app can update your steps if you let the Apple Watch at home? Hello everyone, Maybe it’s a stupid question but somehow I can’t find the answer. I have an Apple Watch sync to my Iphone and sometimes I go for a walk without the watch. Does the activity ring is supposed to update with the steps recorded on the health app? Because so far, it only works with the watch. Thanks
