Weird or Abnormal Charging behavior on iPhone 13 Pro

One day I received a "Liquid detected in Lightning connector". As I was sure of no liquid presence, I chose override option. The charging resumed as usual. Later I noticed that iPhone does not detect charger in following scenario i.e

When power socket switch is off and cable is connected and then power socket switch is turned on.

To make it work I have to switch on the power supply first then connect the cable to the lightning connector.

I have tried it in reverse in which case the C type cable is detached from charger and other end is connected to the phone. In this case also it doesn't work if I connect the C type cable to charger with already turned-on power supply.

This problem is consistent with all 20W chargers sold separately. Charging works fine on old Iphone 7 charger.

This is 6-7 months old problem but I have learned to live with it as I am able to charge my phone with the workaround. Could it be the hardware Issue?

If your iPhone or Lightning accessory is wet

Tap your iPhone gently against your hand with the Lightning connector facing down to remove excess liquid. Leave your iPhone in a dry area with some airflow. After at least 30 minutes, try charging with a Lightning cable or connecting a Lightning accessory.
