The past two days, I've been trying to synch my iPhone to my mac via "Music." The Music app would say, "synching" and " updating iPhone" but nothing gets done. A few hours later, the Music app would shut itself.

Can't sync or back up phone with mac.
Apple online support ran out of suggestions and sent me to the nearby apple store
