Where can I find a complete list of the keyboard shortcuts for the original Apple Wireless Keyboard (M9270LL/A)?

The question is that in the title. I've looked and looked on the Internet and haven't found.

Maybe here?

Also, how can the fn key be emulated on a keyboard that doesn't have that key (such as the same keyboard?

Thanks.

This is what I found searching Apple Support:

Mac keyboard shortcuts - Apple Support

I do not believe they are dependent on the model of the keyboard.

This may be useful if you want to use the keyboard on a non-Apple device:

and this may help if yours is a non-US layout:

But what is the relevance of Mission Control to a kb that lacks a hardware <fn> key?

If by chance what you want is a shortcut for Show Desktop, then Mission control on my system (which is Monterey instead of Mojave), provides (as shown) a long list of shortcuts to choose from.

If "Show Desktop" is not what you are looking for, could you provide more details about that?

If Mojave's Mission Control doesn't let you set a shortcut for Show Desktop like Monterey's does, then you might look at

Instead of trying to emulate a missing hardware key, I think you need to focus on changing the OS shortcut for whatever it is you want to do.

Thanks, but I don't believe there is the standardization across kb's that you suggest.

Or maybe there has been since the era when the Apple Wireless Keyboard was released, but which don't apply to that kb.

The key definitions are also affected by the browser.

So, e.g., Shift-Cmd-G (which the article says opens a 'Go To Folder' dialog) instead opens a 'find' dialog in Brave (and I assume Chrome); i.e., same as Cmd-f.

Also, the Apple Wireless Keyboard has keys that most kb's don't -- e.g., 'Home' and 'End' keys. Plus several more function keys (F1-F16).

I am always accidentally finding new functions from different key combinations, so I had hoped to find a listing focused on the key definitions for that particular kb that I could refer to.

I'm surprised I haven't been able to.

What specific Fn shortcuts do you want to emulate, in what MacOS version ?

Thanks, mostly true but the Apple Wireless Keyboard has keys that later Apple kb's don't. (Home, End, extended F# keys, etc.)

The main shortcut to be emulated would be fn-F11, which toggles the Desktop screen display (in Mojave / OS 10.14.3). The AWK lacks an <fn> key.

Thanks, that may very well be true. But what I wanted was to be able to use key combinations that I run across that make use of the <fn> key specifically.

I actually don't need the <fn> key for 'Show Desktop'. It was just an example of a key combination that uses it (but is not the only way to get the Desktop display).

(Bad example to illustrate but the one that came to mind.)

Could you give an example or two of a shortcut that is important for you that you do need Fn for?

No, because what I wanted to do was include <fn> in the context of my original question, which was to have (or if I was unable to find one, create) a complete list of all key combinations available on the original Apple Wireless Keyboard. So it was more to see what interesting results might be got from including the <fn> key than having any need for a particular shortcut.

Thanks, if you are referring to the reply that cites Karabiner-Elements, the latter doesn't appear to support my OS (Mojave / 10.14.3).

Stack Exchange posts also tend to be over my head. I appreciate the link, though, and will review the information in it further to see whether I can figure out how to make use of at least some of it.

For Mojave you can download an earlier version like 12.10 via
https://karabiner-elements.pqrs.org/docs/releasenotes/

Thanks (again). From a closer look at the Karabiner-Elements 'how to', it appears to offer only mapping "From key" to "To key".

I don't see how that would be of use for mapping a function that doesn't already exist as a keystroke on the target keyboard.

Am I wrong?

The stackexchange 2nd answer claims to have mapped insert on a keyboard with no Fn button to act like Fn. Isn't that what you would like to do?
