stuck in boot mode and error occures when trying to update from iTunes?

I tried to restart by pushing and releasing volume up button then same with volume down, then press and hold right side button until apple appears and then it goes into restore mode. so, I follow instructions to update and restore and it tells me cannot update you must restore, so I hit restore button and it goes thru iTunes and does its thing and then i get an error code "The iPhone could not be restored. An unknown error occurred (4013).

If you see error 4013 in iTunes when trying to update or restore your iPhone, you'll want to be sure you've tried all the steps in this support article to see if they resolve the issue for you: If you see error 9, 4005, 4013, or 4014 when you restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
