IMPORTANT:

Before you delete, make sure that you back up the photos and videos that you still want, as is mentioned in the previous link.

Remember, any photos that you sync from your device to iCloud will reflect any changes you make on any device. Eg. if you delete a photo on your phone it will also delete in iCloud and everywhere else that you sync.
