After changing wallpaper in Settings, the change comes in extremely dark on Home Screen. Has anyone had this issue, and if so, what is needed to correct it? Thank you.

Hello SravanKrA,
For whatever reason, my fix wasn’t good for a long term solution. Also, setting Dark mode on has not turned out to be the solution. Everything looks fine in Settings when choosing the desired Wallpaper. It’s just the Homepage Image is, again, too dark to see. Thank you for your suggestion.
dark to see.
Fixed home screen photo display issue by increasing backup storage, apparently it was too full.
Probably you have turned on Dark Mode in Settings or Control Centre · Go to Settings, then tap Display & Brightness. · Select Dark to turn on Dark Mode.
Use Dark Mode on your iPhone and iPad
This is what I see in Settings.

Now it’s back. Everything working. Maybe it goes dark at night?
The saga continues.
