mac model a2681 forgot password and no question mark

I bought this new device with M2 chip. Its model is A2681. I put some password at the shop and then didn’t need to use it immediately. It stayed in my drawer for couple of months and I have forgotten my login screen password. It has my name on it but I can’t reset the password. There is no “?” sign too. I have entered/ tried numerous combinations many times till now but to no avail. Need help!!
