Can't cancel AppleOne subscription because I have no access to the related iPhone.

I have two AppleIDs, one for one iPhone and one for another. I sold the iPhone related to one of the AppleIDs. I must have forgotten to cancel my AppleOne subscription on it before I wiped the iPhone and sold it. I keep getting billed and have no way of canceling the subscription. When I try to log-in to things like iTunes or Apple Music sites on the Internet in order to manage my subscriptions for the AppleID in question, I keep getting codes sent to the phone number of the iPhone I got rid of but I do not have access to it.

Apple is using two factor to make sure you are the account owner. To do this the standard way means to regain access to the account. If you cannot get access to the account then you can contact Apple. However, they will still need some proof you are the true account owner.

Account Recovery is used to regain access to an account.

If you find you can’t sign in, reset your password, or receive verification codes, you can request account recovery (go to this document: How to use account recovery when you can’t reset your Apple ID password - Apple Support ) to regain access to your account. Account recovery might take a few days or longer, depending on the specific account information you can provide to verify your identity.

Thank you, Limnos.

As I stated in my initial entry (above) I cannot do any of the things listed above.

I do not have the phone & service that the phone was using.

I get prompted to give a security code for 2-factor authentication relating to the old number, so in effect I cannot even log-in using the relevant AppleID in order to cancel the subscription.

I first encountered this issue about a month ago when I saw in my bank statement that I was being charged for services on a device that I no longer have in my possession.

About the only thing that could be done at the time via Apple Support was for them to issue a one-time refund to my account of $16.95 but I don't want to have to do this every month forever.
