Apple Family sharing and Amazon Household: how are the payment and sharing rights different

We have family sharing turned on and it only allows us to have one method of payment which we all seem to have to share. When we try to set up Amazon Household, it tells me I am already part of a household and can't join a new one for 180 days. I don't think I am in a household. What can I do to set up a household? I now live with me daughter and we would like to share Amazon Prime since we have the same address but we also want to have our own cards associated with our purchases.

Hey Laurel A.,

Apple has an article that explains Family Sharing: What is Family Sharing? - Apple Support. It provides general information about the plan and provides links to discover more specific information.

Similarly, Amazon provides this information for Amazon Household: What Is Amazon Household? - Amazon Customer Service. Just as Apple provides more specific information for each feature via links, so does Amazon.

All the best.
