I recently purchased iPhone 13 Pro Max and Apple Watch SE. when I tried to pair the watch, it said phone is out of date. But my phone shows it’s currently on 16.1.2. And to pair the watch, it requires iOS 16.0 or later. Please I need help.

iOS 16.1.2 is an old version. The latest iOS version is 16.6. Please update to iOS 16.6 and try and pair again. If the watch is allready using a newer watchOS then watchOS 9.1 you cannot pair with iOS 16.1.2
