If you are encountering an issue where an iCloud link you created on your iPhone 12 Pro Max cannot be opened by Safari on an iPhone, there could be several reasons for this problem. Here are some potential explanations and solutions:

  1. Check your privacy settings in the iCloud link. Ensure that the link is set to "Anyone with the link" or "Public" if you intend to share it on Facebook. If it's set to "Only people you invite," then only those with iCloud accounts that you've invited will be able to access it.
  2. Double-check that the link permissions are correctly set to allow access to everyone. To do this, go to the iCloud link in your iCloud account settings and adjust the sharing settings accordingly.
  3. Clear your Safari browser cache and cookies. Sometimes, stored data can cause issues when accessing websites. To do this, go to Settings > Safari > Clear History and Website Data.
  4. Ensure that your iPhone's operating system is up to date. Outdated software can sometimes lead to compatibility issues. Go to Settings > General > Software Update to check for and install any available updates.
  5. Verify that your Facebook post is set to "Public" or "Friends" (depending on your sharing preference) so that others can access the link. If your post is set to a more restrictive setting, it may not be visible to everyone.
  6. If none of the above solutions work, consider deleting the existing iCloud link and creating a new one. This may resolve any issues related to the initial link creation.
