Does one have to create a memoji or have to be created and or personalized to show up on iPhone? Thanks

How to create Memoji on iPad? I’m trying to update my memoji on my ipad. All of the instructions say to go to messages, tap the plus sign and choose memoji from the drop down menu. It’s not there! It’s not on my husband’s iPad either but it is on my phone. All iPads and phone running iOS 18.3.1 Are the instructions out of date/wrong or am I missing a step? Don’t think it’s the latter as I’m able to see and choose the Memoji option from my phone. Thank you!

Why my iPad A16 (iPadOS 18.5) does not have Memoji in messages. In my messaging options in the left with the icon( + ) there are some options like Stickers, Location, Camera, Photos and … , but there is no Memoji . Does my iPad supports Memoji.

Missing Memoji I have an iPhone 14 pro and downloaded iOS 17. I cannot find my personal Memoji I have created in an earlier version of iOS. When I go through the steps of creating a new one I still can’t find it. How can I correct this?

Try checking : Settings > General > Keyboards > Memoji Stickers = On or Off

A memoji is generally a cartoon version of yourself:

memoji requires faceID these are the devices which support faceID:

iPhone and iPad models that support Face ID - Apple Support
