iPhone 13 Mini cracked screen and turning off

We have an apple 13 mini that has a cracked back screen. Recently is now not staying charged and randomly not working and shutting off. We have a warranty plan through Costco, but they are telling us they don’t have his phone in stock and to make an apple Genius Bar appointment to get it fixed

You need to start your own thread instead of hijacking someone else's. FWIW, I do not believe Apple honors third party warranty plans. And, unless it is a mfr's defect, a cracked screen is not covered by the regular warranty; it may be with an Applecare plus plan which you did not mention as having.
