iPhone Battery Health Concern

Hello,

I’m experiencing a rapid drop in my iPhone’s battery health, and I’m concerned about it. Can you please provide me with some guidance on how to address this issue? My iPhone model is [iPhone 14 Pro Max], and I purchased it on [03/12/2022].

I’m eagerly awaiting your suggestions.

Batteries degrade over time with usage due to chemical aging, that's just how they work.

You can expect about a 1% drop per month with average use on an iPhone. This is an approximation, that is why it may be plus or minus a few percent on a month to month basis.

Apple recommends replacing it when it reaches 80%. To check your battery health, go to Settings > Battery > Battery Health.

Battery health goes in only one direction: down. It cannot be "boosted". Apple didn't "boost" the battery health of the iPhone 11 series.

As Kurtosis12 explained, batteries are consumables. Eventually, they will have to be replaced. There is no way around that under the current laws of physics.

I’ve been a regular Apple user for a long time, and I’ve been using iPhones for quite a while. However, last year, I purchased the iPhone 14 Pro Max, and its battery health has been deteriorating rapidly. I’m quite concerned because I invested a significant amount of money in it. Can Apple boost my iPhone’s battery health, like they did with the batteries of the iPhone 11 series, as you may be aware?

You are absolutely right. As I mentioned earlier, I have previously used the iPhone 13 Pro Max without any battery issues. This issue seems to be specific to the iPhone 14 Pro Max, which is why I reached out to you. There are many others facing the same problem. It’s unfortunate to say that a company as prominent as Apple, whose phones come with a hefty price tag, is causing us these troubles. Apple should take action on this matter; it’s not a minor issue. I’m very disappointed!
