I have a few older videos that are at a resolution of 480p (854x480). When I play them on my 11-inch iPad Pro, it defaults to stretching the video to play in full screen which results in a grainy image. Is that a way or an app that allows me to play the video clip in its native resolution (smaller image without a loss of quality)?

I finally found a solution that works for me. I turned on stage manager. You can then resize the video playback window. I'm sorry Apple told you there was no built-in solution, when there was. It's nice that they told you you can buy games if you want to do that instead.
