i am only recieving texts or emails or phone calls. i do not get snapchat notifications, or insta, or any other app. all my notifcation settings are turned on and set to alert my phone. what is happening and what does it mean? I just updated my phone to ios 16 but it was also happening before I updated my phone.

We understand that you have everything set accurately, however, you're not able to receive notifications. You also mentioned not having Focus enabled on your iPhone. To clarify, do you have another Apple device? If so, do you have Focus enabled on that device? We ask because this could feature can sync across all your Apple devices.
Keep your Focus settings up to date across all your Apple devices
You can use the same Focus settings on all your Apple devices where you’re signed in with the same Apple ID.
Go to Settings 
> Focus, then turn on Share Across Devices.
Note: Focus filters don’t get synced across devices—they’re only on the device where you set them up.
