My iPod shuffle won't complete syncing?
I am trying to sync my I pod shuffle. It has room for 512 songs and is stuck on #510, won't go any further, won't finish syncing

Hi Mergatroid-23,
You can try force restarting your iPod to see if the issue persists. You can learn how here: How to force restart your iPod shuffle - Apple Support
If things persist it could mean that the battery in the device needs to be replaced. Apple no longer services these devices so you'd have to find a third-party option if that were to be the case.
Take care.
it wouldn’t finish syncing on its own, I had to sign out of iTunes and sign back in and it synced again and was able to complete the process. But the iPod will not turn on when disconnected. I bought this iPod from someone and it had never been used or out of the original packaging. Could the battery have depleted as I have no idea how old it is. Or am I doing something wrong? It is orange not green when charging
Hi Mergatroid-23,
Without more information, there isn't a way for us to determine what could possibly be causing this to happen. Do you get any error messages or similar whenever this happens?
In the meantime, make sure you're following the syncing steps outlined in Use iTunes to sync your iPhone, iPad, or iPod with your computer - Apple Support
Cheers.
Hey there Mergatroid-23,
It is possible there is a problem with the battery. However, orange is the correct color to see when charging. Checking out the information linked below may help to ensure you're moving in the right direction.
Check the status light and battery charge on your iPod shuffle
Have a good one!
ok but at some point the indicator light should turn green when fully charged , when it is disconnected from the power source it does not turn on.
