usbc to hdmi adapter not working

I have an mac mini m2, I have two monitors one connected to the HDMI port, the other connected to the thunder bolt and I use the usb-c to HDMI adapter from apple, the monitor connected to this adapter keeps going off every 2 or 3 minutes and I have to turn it the monitor on and off, I already went to the hz is at 60hz and not fix, I change the sleeping time to never and still doing the same thing, is it possible that the adapter is not working right, does it have warranty from apple, I mean is 69.99 price
