Water Damage in I phone 13 Pro max

My IPhone 13 Pro Max is water damaged. My phone accidentally fell in the swimming pool and after that it reported that liquid has been found, please do not connect while charging.

After that I did not charge it and my phone kept working fine for 15-20 days but after that my phone display started blinking and I went to service center and was told that its folder got damaged due to water.

Whose charge I was told 33800 rupees. Now what is the use of buying a phone worth 1.30 lac when it is not waterproof.

While it is said that iPhone is waterproof, iPhone is not waterproof, by saying this word the company just wants to increase its sales.
