eSIM yet I get failure message?

I have an iPhone 14 that does not contain a physical SIM card. I keep receiving a "SIM failure" message right after my call is dropped because I have no bars and am not on wifi. Or I'll just happen to notice that I don't have any service, so I do all the recommendations of turning phone off and on, make sure the updates are up to date, make sure I paid the bill and therefore am entitled to service. Check, check, and check. But then it says to take out and reinstall my SIM card. Therefore, I went to my spouse and ask for the SIM card key to which he says, whilst donning an incredulous face (although, to be fair, he always looks like that), "Our phones don't have a SIM card. It's all eSIMS now. There's not even a slot for one!" Oh. So......What shall I do now? We live over seas and it is a bit difficult explaining the situation to our service carrier due to language barriers, especially when my phone keeps hanging up on them. Is anyone else experiencing this issue (the non-existent SIM card failure, not incredulous husband face)? Thank you for your help!

ive recently had this issue tried all options factory reset etc all to no avail took to Apple auth repair and tests showed that eSIM module had failed and would be necessary to take apart to repair big bill as outside Apple warranty looking at the community help looks like this could be a fault in production of iPhone 14 Pro as all similar issues are 14 pro or pro max

To be able to use any SIM across the globe you must have "No SIM Restriction" against Network Provider Lock. Please refer to the pic below.
