If I attempt to send an example phishing email will it get denied by icloud

I'm receiving email bounce backs again when I use a distribution list that contains iCloud email addresses.

The email content is an example phishing email scam.

Hi fzasupport,

It sounds like you're having an issues sending bulk messages via iCloud. If so, you started from a great resource: Postmaster information for iCloud Mail - Apple Support

Specifically the section that mentions:

"Why don't our messages go to the recipient's inbox?

Please follow the best practices for sending bulk email, so that your emails won't be considered junk mail. iCloud Mail automatically detects and blocks junk mail before it reaches the inbox. We do our best to ensure that all legitimate and wanted emails get to our users, but occasionally those emails might be filtered as junk."

So it's likely being blocked automatically. You can test sharing the Apple article: Recognize and avoid phishing messages, phony support calls, and other scams

However, if the issue continues it's recommended you follow the directions in the last paragraph to help with sending your bulk email regarding phishing. If needed, find that section below.

"If you still need help

If you followed our best practices and reviewed your mail logs for more information but still can't diagnose and address delivery issues, you may contact our postmaster team by sending an email to icloudadmin@apple.com with all of the following information:

  • Your company name
  • Your email domain
  • The IP addresses of the affected mail servers
  • The SMTP errors that you're getting from iCloud mail servers
  • A detailed description of the issue, including when it started

If you're not a system administrator and need help with iCloud Mail, contact Apple Support instead. "

Cheers.
