Apple calendar doesn't recognize me as the organizer of meetings created in my Outlook account

I think this happened when I upgraded to Ventura. Meetings that I created in Apple Calendar now display correctly in Outlook Calendar, but treat me as a participant when working in Apple Calendar. The Apple Calendar event does identify me correctly (by name and email address) in the invitation but as an external organizer.

I can update an invitation (I have a lot of recurring meetings) and that seems to fix it, but that's disruptive to my participants (not to mention me).

Any ideas about what's going on?
