I can't send or receive messages from a contact with an android phone

I have checked my settings under messages and have unblocked all numbers

SMS/MMS is a carrier function. It requires both a voice network connection for SMS, and a cellular network connection for MMS; it cannot use Wi-Fi. Go to Settings/Messages and turn on the switch for MMS. If there is no switch that means that your phone was not set up correctly on their network.


If you can make calls and access the internet using cellular data contact your carrier and tell then the provisioning of your SMS and MMS needs to be fixed.
