The microphone on my iPhone has refused to work

The microphone on my Iphone has refused to work.

I have reset my phone twice and it works for a short time then quits. My Iphone will dail out but notlet me be heard from the other side. I cannot use the microphone on Messaging either.

You’re describing an AudioIC hardware issue. You can:

Do an out-of-warranty replacement of your iPhone.
Trade in your iPhone towards a new one.
Find a competent 3rd party repair site that can do the soldering repairs need, but no guarantees. Also, if you go this route Apple may refuse service on your iPhone in the future.

I tried those yet I had to reset the iphone again. We will see if it works. thanks for the help!
